WHAT IS IT?
Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a more successful existence.
We recently launched our Wellness Training series and our first Open Wellness Workshop for Educators is scheduled on the 29th of May 2010 at Don Bosco Retreat House from 9-6pm. By open we mean schools may send representatives to the workshop and be treated to a whole day session of developing natural capacities for wellness and well being.
Participants will explore Relaxation Techniques, Sound Healing, Soothing Self-Massage, Daily Eye Exercises, Throat & Voice Care, Laughter Yoga and Mindful Eating.
Highlighting the sessions will be talks on Self Acceptance, Overcoming Self Limiting Beliefs, Gratitude Attitude and Serving with an Abundant Mindset.

WHY FOR TEACHERS?
A story telling session during Barrio Fiesta Day with Teacher Stella at Dynamic Minds Learning House Inc.
Many have asked why we chose to focus on offering the workshop to educators first. I’ve had my share teaching in schools and have spent decades training corporate and private groups. Along the way I’ve realized just how valuable the role of teachers are in forming the belief system and mindset of a people.
For easy reading allow me to present it in bullet form.
- Formative years of children are mostly spent observing, following, learning and doing things done in a school setting. With both parents working these days, children find themselves exposed to the school setting as early as two years old.
- In my experience as trainer, along with much research on the subject area, all adults react, respond and make choices based on the belief of who they are and what they are. The value they placed on themselves, are most often than not, the same value that teachers and parents have placed on them during their early childhood development.
Dynamic Minds Planting Activity
- If children were constantly exposed to positive affirmations in their formative years, and are continually reinforced in their high school and college years the result can be manifested in the student’s health and well being.
- These ideal scenarios contribute much to the kind of performance an employee would deliver in their career, family life, social life, financial life and overall sense of wellness.
The Wellness Workshop is aimed at helping educators uncover the treasure and power for wellness and well being that lie within. In so doing, they too could pass on to students, new belief systems that increase self-value. Eventually, educators could very well become the key sector in developing a new breed of Filipinos —Filipinos who function from the mindset of abundance.
All it takes is one step to begin the journey.
