Of Insects and Spiders

loving abundanceMichelle admits that she often asks a lot of questions.  This conversation followed after the rain incident.  Well you know there are a lot of things that can happened in the garden, when the rain is falling and just like Charlotte and her friend the Spider, you can also be enthralled with little creatures such as the insects and spiders.  What do you think?

Michelle: It rained yesterday morning. And since I was up early I sat down near the window and watched life. And I thought about what you said.

Daisy: About?

Michelle: How you were often reflecting about life when you were still a little girl.

Daisy: Hahaha That was weeks ago! You still remember what I said? Hahaha

Michelle: I remember a lot of things. Can you tell me more?

Daisy: Where was I?

Michelle: Insects and gardens and observing life.

Daisy: Oh yeah that one. Hmmm… Yes I always find myself in the garden watching insects among plants.

Michelle: So you often found yourself focusing on the little things that were happening in the garden?

Daisy: Yes, insects and even spiders. I was amazed at how it makes its web.

Michelle: So what were you thinking when you saw it?

Daisy: I was curious as to what it was doing and I was trying to predict where it would go next and what formation it would make. I also used to pick different types of leaves, studying it and looking at the patterns found in the leaves.

Michelle: Hmmm…and then….

Daisy: The flowers were not spared either. I used to dissect the blooms wanting to know more what’s inside them.

Michelle: Hahaha that’s cute. So what did you find?

Daisy: I can’t remember. But I do know I found out that some leaves were edible when eaten raw and I used to pick them up and put salt and roll them and eat them. And that was like an achievement of sorts for me then. Hahahaha

Michelle: You ate raw leaves?

Daisy: Yup, and I washed them first.

Michelle: My dad would not have approved.

Daisy: Well, my dad taught me. hahaha

Michelle: That sounded fun. Compared to your childhood, maybe mine would be classified as boring.

Daisy: Hahaha not when you told me about your friendship with God.

Michelle: Oh that! That was different.

Daisy: Promise you would talk about it one of these days?

Michelle: Hahaha Okay, okay I will. Thanks for talking about your experience in the garden. Come to think of it, I admit I was also serious as a child and often reflected about life too.

Daisy: Hahaha Finally you admit!

Michelle: Hahaha Guilty as charged.
