Do you love the rain? What do you feel when it rains? Do you remember the times you would watch the rain fall down from the sky? Michelle and Daisy talk about the little ordinary things like rain. Come join them in their conversation.
Michelle: (sings merrily) Raindrops keep falling on my head. Hmmm… Have you ever been afraid of the rain?
Daisy: No! I love the rain. It brings back a lot of good memories in my childhood days.
Michelle: Tell me about it.
Daisy: When it rains, I would sit by the window and just observe how the rain makes the whole scene look so good.
Michelle: That sounds so…..so….adult!
Daisy: Huh? What do you mean?
Michelle: I suppose because the word childhood brings back memories of fun, moments when you could just fool around and play lots of games. Not sitting quietly and “observing the whole scene!”
Daisy: Ahhhh that! But I did like observing the rain touch the flowers and see how they move around. And I love the smell of the earth and the cool wind it brings.
Michelle: The flowers move around? That’s ssscccarrry! You got to be kidding me.
Daisy: Stop teasing me. Hahaha You know, it shakes when the rain becomes strong.
Michelle: Sorry, hahaha, I just couldn’t resist.
Daisy: But now that you asked me, I still do that you know.
Michelle: Do what?
Daisy: Observe the rain. And I’m wondering why is that?
Michelle: Well did you ever play in the rain?
Daisy: We did! Well, not always. But there were moments when we were allowed to.
Michelle: I guess you were a pretty serious child.
Daisy: I guess so.
Is that bad?
Michelle: No, of course not silly. I guess you just wanted to reflect on life.
Daisy: Yes, there were many things going on in my mind then. But you know what; I bet you were more serious than me.
Michelle: Hahahaha You will not make me talk about that today. No you won’t.
Daisy: Why not?
Michelle: Hmmm…maybe some other time. Hey it’s raining! C’mon lets go and watch and reflect on life.

hahahahaha….there you two go again. LOL I want to come over and play. Let’s walk barefoot in the puddles. Have you done that before like me. That is really fun. I want to play with you, can I please!
C’mon Dottie, let’s play! I never got the chance to walk barefoot in the puddles. I want to try! Hahahaha

Never minded the rain growing up on the east coast but once I moved to WA on the west coast as an adult I couldn’t believe how much it rained here until I realized that is why everything stays so lush and green year round, which I love. We lived in a very heavy rain area in the mountains for several years but now live where it it happens only occasionally and when it does I love it knowing my newly planted trees and shrubs are thriving.
This is a great post, I stumbled across your article while looking for music. Thanks for sharing, I’ll be sure to return regularly.
Hi Madeleine, thanks for dropping by. There is el nino in our country right now and praying for rain on a daily basis. You are so right, the rain keeps everything lush and green. May we continue to appreciate the rain
