Cebu Kerygma Conference: Dream Big Win Big with a Big God

Michelle and I are blessed to be part of the team preparing for the First Cebu Kerygma Conference led by international preacher, Bro. Bo Sanchez.  This conference is aimed at teaching Filipinos to dare to dream once more and even dream bigger to win bigger knowing we have a big God who desires the best for us.

The Cebu Chapter of the Light of Jesus Community (LOJ) is all set for the November 28-29 event at the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC) with live satellite feed from Manila Kerygma Conference at the Araneta Coliseum in what is dubbed as the biggest Catholic learning event of the year.

The conference will feature talks of Bro. Bo focusing on ways to DREAM BIG WIN BIG with a BIG GOD together with other Kerygma preachers Bro. Alvin Barcelona, Bro. Eng Si, and Bro. Pio Español.  Fr. Joseph Skelton,Jr., Bro. Arun Gogna and Bro. Oscar Alino will lead the congregation in worship sessions.

The Cebu Kerygma Conference will also have no less than the Archbishop of Cebu himself, Ricardo Cardinal Vidal, celebrating the mass on Saturday and popular healing priest Fr. Joey Faller conducting a healing mass on Sunday to close the conference.

Lending their hand in providing relevant entertainment are artists like ABS-CBN Born Diva Grand Prize Winner, Raki Vega-Siu who will do a musical sharing and the One in Him Band with original members reuniting just for the event, to play during the opening worship session and the concert prepared at the end of the first day.

Out of the Box Talents Benjie Layos, Johanna Lavajo, Edison Saynes, Marc Bolongon, Clark Jolbot and Crystal Lei Cajes  together with Michelle Simtoco, will perform a novelty act in the form of a poetry play ending with the I Believe In You musical piece. Dance director Marijo Cypril Jamora will lead LOJ, Fire of God and Catholic Charismatic Carolinians dance ministry members in a stylized ethnic-jazz dance during Fr. Skelton’s New Halleluia opening piece. The LOJ Music Ministry led by Stephen Nellas has also prepared a special production number.

The K-Con Cebu “backstage” dream team is spearheaded by LOJ Cebu Chapter head Bro. Antonio “Boy” Dy with elders Bro. Oscar Alino and Bro. Winston Ng. Strongly supporting the elders are vibrant committee heads Eva Cabrera, May Seno, Domie Cabrera, Amy Dy, Jovy Seno, Patsy Dizon, Mimi Galleon, Glenda Patena, and Cristy Bongar.

I must make special mention to the untiring energy of secretariat members Tim Perez and Guada Solon who willingly relay needs and messages to concerned parties. We also love the fact the KCon executive committee of Manila headed by Bro. Hermie Morelos, gives us all the support we need to put things in order. Kudos to the guidance of other KCon excutive committee members  Bro Randy Borromeo, Chelle Crisanto  and Joy Sosoban.

Indeed, the event is power packed with Big learning, healing and entertainment from people with Big hearts willing to share all they can to make this Big dream come true. At this point we feel we are already Big winners. Our Big God is out to make more big dreams come true and it is our desire to impart to you the message of the conference in the coming posts we will have on this site. Watch out for it. Blessings!
